Hey guyes, i am about to get an iphone and i have the coice of pay as you go or contract. If i go contract and jailbreak will it terminate my contract or will the contract still work? If i get it on pay as you go and jailbreak does it unlock the phone from o2 or does it just jailbreak and do nothing to the carrier?

If you Jailbreak the contract will still work. And as far as i know, 3G on PAYG can't be unlocked as of yet ... but you will be able to jailbreak.

If you jailbrake it will not affect your contract with o2 or disconnect you from the network on PAYG.
If you are getting a first gen iphone you can unlock from the o2 network but there is currently no way to unlock the 3G iphone from the network.
