iPad Jailbreaking Question From A New Owner Of Ipad

Hey guys newcomer to forum and Apple Ipads here go gentle.

I have just been given an IPAD Air, and which I am looking to update and Jailbreak.

The model number is A1475. The firmware is 12.4.7.

My questions:

1. What is the highest firmware it can be updated to?
2. How do I go about this?
3. Once updated (if possible) how do I jail break?

Can anyone kindly assist?
