if im using 2.0 (Jailbroken) and i update to 2.0.1 will i need to jailbreak again??

you have to pwn the software you want (2.0) and then do a option+restore or shift+restore and select the custom jailbroken firmware , much faster and easier

No, you don't have to go into DFU mode the second time around. Upgrading to 2.0.1 is relatively easy, just get the new PwnageTool. I did it in 10 minutes this weeked (not including the resync of course!)

ok thanks guys,
and one more thing... once jailbroken on 2.0.1 would i need to reinstall all the cydia apps that i installed and what not?? im guessing i lose everythin right.?

Yes. But when you create your custom firmware, you can enter advanced mode and add packages before you restore the firmware to the iPhone.
