Jailbroke, now GPS doesn't work

I jailbroke my phone yesterday and discovered today that the GPS does not work. Has anyone ever experienced this before? Is there any way to fix it without restoring the phone? Did jailbreak cause it or could it have been something else? Thanks.

ETA: The phone is a 3G
