Please excuse me if this has been covered, but I tried searching, but my search terms weren't helpful.

Apparently I just successfully Jailbroke an OS 3.01 2G iPhone using this guide:

http://jaxov.com/2009/09/unlock-iphone-firmware-3-1-compatible-with-pwnagetool-3-1/

I did this to give to a friend so she can use it with T-Mobile, her current carrier.

My question is, when this iPhone is connected to iTunes now - selecting the iPhone in the sidebar gives me a "Set Up Your iPhone" page with the option of "Set up as a new iPhone," or "Restore from the Backup of..." and my old phone number is still listed. (As a side note, how do I remove the listing of my old phone number on this iPhone? :)

How do she proceed to use this iPhone with T-Mobile, and furthermore, will she still be able to use iTunes to sync music, photos, etc. since there are no current options to do so?

Will this iPhone require a new sim card inserted by T-Mobile, or when she does the transfer, will iTunes recognize this and unlock all the sync tabs?

Again, my apologies if this has been covered, but I couldn't find anything out there except for tutorials on how to Jailbreak - but they always end at the Jailbroken part, and never explain how to get on another carrier, data plan options, and if it's possible (and how) to use iTunes at that point. Does anyone know of a guide I could read?

Any help is appreciated :)
