For those of you who had the iPad jailbroken before, and have since updated, do you think the update was worth loosing jailbreak?

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry9700/5.0.0.862 Profile/MIDP-2.1 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/332)

I was thinking this the other day. For me it was worth it as the only things about the jailbreak I miss are RetinaPad + Fullforce and SBSettings. I think it really depends on how much you like/need all the customization. I find iOS5 safari browser much much faster. No more pixelation when scrolling web pages. Also split keyboard works really well for me. Can't recall if there was a Cydia app for this or not though.

This is for iPad2.

I would leave your iPad on 4.3.3 ;)

I have my iPad 2 on 4.3.3 and my 4s on 5.0.1 and every day wish I had a way of jailbreaking my 4s.

Yeah. I got my iPad after apple stopped signing 4.3.3 so I can't downgrade if I don't like ios5

Same here. I was lucky enough to purchase my iPad 2 with 4.3.3.

Having used my 4s on IOS 5 since release day I would say that I would rather be on 4.x.x and have an option to jailbreak.

I am still to find the 200+ new features in IOS 5 and have a few issues with battery, email and reception.

There are just too many thing that JB brings to the platform.

On the iPhone no way would I want to upgrade to 5.0.1 and lose the JB.

iPad I gave up the JB. I miss it but it's less of a loss compared to what I would lose with the iphone JB.

I think you are spot on there. JB brings to much.

I had to do a restore after Apple stopped signing 5.0 so am on 5.0.1 on my 4s which is nightmare after reading the devs are working on a jailbreak for 5.0 and have said not to update to 5.0.1

I'm pretty sure the jailbreak will work on both 5.0.0 and 5.0.1 since apple is fixing battery life issues and not patching jailbreak holes.
