Jailbroken iphone 1.1.2 and at&t sim (Please help)

Hi,
I bought a brand new iphone from the apple website, which came preinstalled with 1.1.2 and the new base band.

I managed to jailbreak the phone and I use many apps on it but anysim and other sim unlock softwares give errors such as cannot unlock or unlock failed.

When I insert my old at&t sim card it says no service but it recognizes my number in the setting---> phone menu. I am unable to make any phone calls or receive any.

I want to use my old at&t simcard without signing a new contract or changing any plan on my at&t account.

Please help.

So, did you activate the phone in itunes with the pre-installed sim card? If you did then you previous one would have been deactivated.
