Jailbroken iPhone 3G, restore the apps, contacts , music...

Hi, So If I jailbroke my iPhone, now its Blank , just like when I buy it, how do I put again all my music and apps and all that??

I mean, it wont simply sync like it always do, what If I hit "Restore from the backup: XXXX's iphone" < is that were im supposed to hit?, or should I give it a new name, like its a new phone, and install everything 1 by 1, just like the first time!?

I really try to search (im having a hard time finding what i search), and even read a few tutorials, but they all end like "you've succesfully jailbroken you iPhone" and It doesnt sais anything about restoring the music, or apps, or anything.
Sorry if this is common knowledge

--Also another question, now that it is jailbroken, I can still buy things from apple apps store, right?, or Itunes?

you can sync all your stuff back into your phone but with the apps all the data will be erased so if you were proud of a really high score in a game, its gone. Though in the future there is a way to save your game data. And yes you can still buy apps or songs via itunes or appstore. And remeber with every jailbreak you will have to start all over. Meaning re-syncing everything. Also you can backup you iphone from a previous backup as long as that previous backup is from the same firmware. I usually just make a new name cuz i only jailbreak when there is an upgrade of firmwares. hope that i've helped

ok, thanks for the help.

I just click restore from backup, and everything its back not (apps, contacts ,pics...) so I guess what I have to do, It takes long as HELL to compleate but it works...

whenI quikpwn (using a tutorial i found) the phone gets compleatly erased

could this be , because the tutorial sais to "RESTORE" from Itunes, Using the last firmware( 2.2), and then to open Qpwn and continue.

Maybe its not nesesary to "RESTORE" from itunes, if I already had that firmware!?

Is that what you mean?!, that way the Phone doesnt get erased?!
