Hey guys jailbroke my iphone 5 with evasi0n and since my power button has seem to broken so need to bring it to apple have an appointment today, was wondering what the best way is to wipe the phone so apple cant detect the jailbreak tried to follow the evasi0n guide to remove it but seems they are using an older version of itunes for the guide as it wont sorely let me restore the phone its asking for the upgrade also, I dont mind doing this but at one point it says that they verify the restore with Apple does this mean they can catch on that ive got a jailbroken device?

Thanks Rabbie.

take it this is ok to do then just scared in case it messes anything up or informs apple of me having a jailbroken device, also with the power button sticking / broke will they replace the phone as a lot of scrapes etc on it or will they just try and fix it?

If it is stil under waranty they will replace it, most likely you won't be able to jailbreak the replacement, later on in the year Apple will start to repair the power butoon issues.

Worst thing that can happen is that is goes into a boot loop, they won't be able to see anything let alone a jailbreak.

just restore it then all the jailbreak data will go away. You're going to get a new iphone anyways :D
