Okay so I downloaded the latest update from the Rock app today and instead of doing a soft restart I said I would do it on exit, but then I held down the power button and did a restart manually by sliding the slider to power off. I turned it back on about 30 seconds later and when it came back up, all of my apps except the jailbroken apps and the standard iPhone apps have disappeared.

But here's the thing, I checked my memory in Settings and I have the same amount of memory as I did before - only 320MB. So I went into SBSettings and then More, and I went into the area where you can toggle hiding the app icons, and every single one of my apps - 96 - was listed, I just can't actually access them on the phone. Also, when I'm in the General section of Settings, where it has how many songs, photos and applications I have, the Applications part is completely missing -- I can still see how many photos and videos and songs I have, but the Applications part is completely gone.

I don't have access to my computer anymore (it crapped out on me) so I really don't want to have to do a restore and lose all of my music (which IS still there thank god) because I'll have no way of getting it back. What can I do??? Help!

Thanks!

I tried resetting the home screen, but that didn't work :-/

My apps are still invisible

I forgot to add one trying originally. I edited my original post but I figured I would I post what I missed before down here too...

Try turning Restrictions in General Settings ON and then OFF, this used to work for disappearing app icons.

Tried it, didn't work :-/

Is there a certain way to do it? Should I turn Restrictions on then right back off? I turned them on, hit the home button then went back into Settings and turned them back off. Do I need to restart?
