I've got a question.
My employer is super-sensitive about email security and things, and only recently approved the iPhone (once the 3g came out) for push through our exchange server.

The security policies on the push server require us to have a passcode to unlock the phone, no biggie...

but I'm wondering: if I jailbreak the phone, will it interfere with this somehow, and prevent push from working?

Also: the only reason I'd jailbreak the phone is for intelliscreen, which would display some info from the push server on the unlock screen (calendar events, new emails). I'm wondering if that program might cause problems with the push server.

(Intelliscreen for 2.0 is being worked on, with a beta due out Aug 10, according to the Intelliborn website.)

Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone has already had problems with exchange and a jailbroken phone..

thanks!

I dont see any issues why this would affect the exchange server. I am currently using a 3G jailbroken with my phone have not had any issues.

Same here... not 3G, but jailbroken 2G using our company's Exchange server and loving it.

Extremely reliable syncing of contacts + calendar, plus push email.
