From the Apple store:

GarageBand Jam Pack is the first expansion pack of additional content for iLife '04. It extends the number of sounds available for creating music, providing even more creative options.

Looks like we can expect future Jam Packs according to the Apple store. Interesting if you're a musician that uses GB.

wow, that's really awesome if they plan on making more, I think if they made say Jam Pak 2 didn't just add loops, effects and softinstruments but also added more features, that would be awesome!
what I really want is to be able to program the nobs and sliders on my m-audio radium 61, I did find out today that nob #14 controls the tack pan, that's cool. I'd also like to be able to have a pan option right beside the volume track. like with the lines you can move around and set all though out the track.

I really hope so. Would just be great of they release more jampacks over time.

But before that they should work on the performance. Just can't justify buying a new Mac because GB is not running well.

Read it carefully. It says...

first expansion pack of additional content for iLife '04

which means it's not necessarily for GarageBand. It's more likely that there will be additional 'JamPacks' for the other iLife apps, such as iMovie or iDVD.

These most probably would include additional transitions and effects for iMovie and more themes for iDVD. Sounds cool.

Great find there, dukemeiser!
