Japan tethering 3.1?

So i see the thread about AT&T about it not working, but anyone in Japan land tried it yet?

I'm giving it a try right now. I'll let you know what I find out.

Well I just updated and my tethering icon stayed on the screen. Although after I tried to teether it disappeared. Weirdest thing. So yeah I guess that means it's gone for us too.
