I am using a Japanese kana keyboard on my iPad (besides my regular keyboard).

On my new iPad, the column order of the keyboard is reversed. I find this strange as both iPads run on the same iOS version (9.2). Also pictures I find on internet show that the order on my old iPad is correct.

Did I miss something?

Problem solved: under settings-general-keyboard there is a (for me) new option to set あ left or right on the Japanese kana keyboard.
