macOS Java API Documentation

I've been working at this for quite a while, and help would be very much appreciated. I'm working my way through the book "Head First Java" and it was saying that I need to download the API Documentation, what it failed to mention is how to do that on a Mac. There are a lot of things I've been reading about a lighter version being included, but still needing to download it, but I still can't seem to find what exactly it is I'm supposed to download. I even tried a widget called javadoc, but that didn't work either.

It is basically a bunch of web pages

It can also be found, compressed, in

/System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/CurrentJDK/Home/docs.jar

which you might need to unzip
