I have (had) the program Limewire, and recently it only bounces in my dock a few times before dissapearing. I did some research, and many people have this same problem, but they're all use 10.3.9, and haven't updated their java.

Well, for me, I have 10.4.2 and have the latest updates of Java (via software updater) and I still get this problem.

I tried to install a different P2P program called Acquisition, and it said that the Java Runtime cannot be loaded, and then recommends re-installing my OS.

I dont' think it's a problem with my OS, because this only happened recently.
So, is it a problem that any one else is having? or just me?

Thanks a lot.

I would suggest you use Poisoned (http://gottsilla.net/poisoned.php) or mLmac (http://mlmac.org/download/). Poisoned is great for music, while mLmac is best for larger files.

If you want to stick to Limewire, have you repaired permissions after the upgrade to Java. Also, check Limewire's website to see if they have a new build out since the update could have broken something.
