Why can't you play YouTube videos? Is it because you are in the office network? I do not see the correlation with Java 6.
Anyway, I just installed Java 6 and so far, so good. Trying out the Java-based kidswb.com channel. Don't forget to change your JRE preferences. (well, Java 6 does not work on Safari 3.1.1 because Safari is 32-bit only).
