I helped my brother updated his 2g to 3.0.1 FW and JB with redsn0w 0.8 following iclarified's instruction. worked as a breeze. when i restore from backup to retain his stuff, Notes.app seem to crash. whatever was saved was titled differently and he cant delete/add/edit his notes. it would just close. anybody experience this issue? anyway to fix it? he has important stuff on his notes and is bummed about it. everything else is working perfecting. his text messages, calls, pictures were recovered fine. only problem is that app.

Id do it again and use redsn0w 0.7.2
As i recall the 0.8 was supposed to be for 3GS users but i could be wrong. I used 0.7.2 on my 2G and another 3G and it worked without a hitch.
polobreaka, did you manage to fix this issue with your brother's iphone? bc i have the same issue and i have not managed to fix it even though i jb with redsnow 0.7.2 in the first place

nope
still the same issue. tried it couple of times and nothing worked. yea he had some pretty important stuff in his notes also.
