I have a really stupid question - if I were to JB my Apple TV Generation 2 to the newest versions, would I be able to browse the web, there is one website that I use to watch college football, college basketball and soccer for out of market games. Before I do this I want to make sure that I can get to that website to stream the games live. Sorry if this is a repeat question I tried sifting through the forum but just couldn't find enough information that I could understand since I am a Noob to doing this

Thanks again

You could find something like FlashBlack which includes a web browser, I believe. However, you need to make sure the websites don't use Flash video, as the ATV still cannot play that even when jailbroken.

The sites do use flash - so I guess the real answer is No it can't be done not even with jailbreaking it?

Well, never say never...

You could probably get a flash browser on an iPhone or iPad, like Skyfire.

Then, you could mirror your device to the ATV and use that app to stream the video to your TV.

Alternatively, if you have a recent Mac computer, you can also mirror your display and just play the content directly from your browser on your computer.

The ATV, by itself, cannot display flash content, though.
