Is there a hack or method to getting non-MFI cables/battery cases to work with IOS7? I have a battery case that worked but when I updated to 7.0.6 and re-jail broke it wont let the case charge anymore. If I turn the case on as the phone is being turned off it will charge the phone while it is off, but that sucks because I want to be able to use while charging.

On a side question. Are there any cables that can go- lightning female->usb female or lightning female-> some other connector ->eventually end up with usb female. If this was possible then I could just use a MFI cert. cable to hook to my battery case. The functionality of the case would be lost but at least I can still use it as a back up battery.

Im also willing to solder things to get this to work, paid too much for my battery cases for apple to ruin it for me. :D

Bump

I am interested in this as well. My iQi has not been charging my phone reliably since updating/re-jailbreaking to 7.0.6 (seems to sometimes charge when phone is off or freshly rebooted)..

Being jailbroken, I feel like there just has to be a way to remove/bypass Apple's check for unauthorized cables!

Currently there's no way to bypass Apple's restriction to non-certified cables. Someone "tried" to comeup with a hotfix for that but removed it from Cydia few days after it was uploaded because it didn't work for anyone.
