Hiu guys,

I've scouted the internet and can't find the solution? Is this because there isn't one?

I just got my new iPhone 3GS today and wanted to JB it but had no luck with blackrain as when it was successful, after a reboot of the iPhone, it went into dfu mode on 3 seperate occasions.

Thanks in advance

You probably have the new bootrom which requires a tethered jailbreak everytime.

Does that mean when ever I reboot or connect to iTunes, I'll need to JB again?

If it's a new 3GS, you probably have the new bootrom which requires a tethered jailbreak every time after turning it off or rebooting. Keep your computer, USB cable and blackra1n within arms reach all the time.

So when ever it goes in dfu mode, i jus run blackrain and that should be fine? I won't lose all the apps and cydia and stuff?
