iPhone JB iPhone 5 stuck in some kind of loop

I downloaded NextGenUI5 onto my phone about a week ago. It was pretty sweet, but my phone kept crashing. Now it cannot turn on. When my phone is plugged into a charger it cycles between the low battery sign it gives you when your phone dies and you first plug it in and the apple logo. ive tried a hard reset, plugging it into iTunes, and pretty much everything in between. Is there something i can do or is it a lost cause? Any help would be appreciated.

try holding the volume up button while your device is booting up

I tried doing that. The screen goes black and stays that way until i let go, then its back in a loop

UPDATE: iPhone now out of loop and charging via computer but wont turn on/computer&iTunes not registering that my device is plugged in.
