JB iPhone, existing apps have no data

I couldn't find a thread similar to this, so if there is already a thread like this in existence, please direct me to it.

I just jailbroke my iPhone, and I synced my apps back onto my phone. However, none of my apps have the data on it that I had prior to jailbreaking it. For instance, I have the BillMinder app. When I sync that app back to my phone after JB, none my bills are on there. Sam with the 1Password app and my Things app. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Or do I have to input the data back into the apps?

Unless you choose restore to backup, generally your app settings and data do not get put back onto your phone.

When you restore your phone and set up as a new phone, you lose app data. You can restore from backup, but that causes some people problems.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if I restore the iPhone to backup, doesn't that cancel out the fact that I already JB it? Or no?

No, but by doing so you can get a corrupted jailbreak with more chance of problems. Always best to select set up from new.
