JB now all stock apps gone NEED HELP

Hey guys I recently JB a iphone 6+ with double h3lix not spyware meridiansparkes. I am on 10.3.2 IOS.. The JB went what seemed like perfect.. I installed some sources such as isinful and appcake. Sudenly after the appcake install and a respring the phone, text, settings, cydia, etc apps/icons are now gone.

I do recieve text via drop down alerts. I called the phone but it will not go through.

I connected the phone to ifunbox but it does not recognize as JB. I connected the phone to itunes but it can't recognize and needs or asks to restore.

I have tried reset but I'm very limited to what I can do without settings or access to cydia or any info on the phone.

I know I can restore but I really don't want to upgrade and lose jailbreaking ability. I don't want to loose my texts and all personal info on the phone if there is some sort of fix.

Any help?? Any and ALL ideas are welcome!

I'm sure you had a 'legitimate' reason for installing known pirate repos that serve up pirated apps and tweaks without having to pay for them. Appcake itself is for getting apps off the app store without having to pay for them as well as getting in app purchases free.

But according to the rules here on MacRumors discussing your reason would be a violation under "Things not to do."

So, probably better to seek help elsewhere.

A full restore as new will of course solve your problem but that solution isn't why you're here.

I am a novice to jailbreaking I was jailbreaking my wifes phone. The reason for installing the source is because it was rated a top ten source on the web and youtube video. I actually didn't know much or nothing at all about the source. After hearing people reply to me from various FB groups etc...Now I know what it is and what people use it for. All I really wanted to do is JB so my wife could pair her apple watch with her phone without upgrading. A jailbreak seemed like a good place to start.


I cant recieve proper help here or elsewhere if I don't explain EXACTLY what happened and what I installed. Im sorry you feel that way and I hope you don't influence others to not help me. No matter what or how the issue happened or why. There is a real problem that needs addressed and solved. I have read several posts on the net with the same problem. They never posted the solution. I guess most simply upgraded.

Maybe others will decide to help figure this issue out.

I'll take you at your word then. SINful and Appcake are used in the manner I described. You are highly unlikely to find any tweaks from those sources that do not contain some source of malware or code that phones data home.

While they may be a top source a lot of people who jailbreak do so to pirate. So for them, this would be a top source. One of the things to learn about jailbreaking is that Youtube is not a reliable source for just about everything.

Additionally, most people are leaving jailbreaking in order to pair their watch. You're the first I've heard of to do the opposite.

That said, I'd start with uninstalling Appcake.

Usually when something goes bad quickly or immediately it's a result of the last tweak you installed.

I thank you for your understanding.. See I am not in the jailbreaking scene so I know little to nothing about it.. I figure there may be a work around watch pairing same as jailbreaking. Im not sure of the possibilies for the watch or phone. Usuallly the first thing everyone asks is if the phone is JB. Soon as you say no then they shut you down and the conversations is over before it starts.

Everyone knows your at the mercy of apple if you don't JB and it doesn't take a genious to figure out if your stock you have to do things the way apple wants. This means upgrading to the most glitchy problematic or horrible version of FW if you want to use their products.

Well I would if I could but would you mind reading over my first post again?

I have no cydia, I have no settings app, I have absolutely no stock system apps such as phone, text, calendar, and not even SIRI.. I can't get root access because non of the programs such as ifunbox or u3tools recognize it as JB..

I have downloaded u3tools and started looking it over. I've done some reading and trying to figure out if I can download the 10.3.2 IPSW and reload or flash it back while making a backup.. The programs suggests that I can.

Again I am just a noob trying to fumble my way through this stuff likely causing more harm than good with no outside help.

Unfortunately, a lot of the people who used to be into jailbreaking around here have moved on.
