Apple TV JB Questions

Please be patient with me here
Im getting a tad confused with build numbers and firmware numbers
Im on latest update from apple 4.2.2 ( according to details in atv )
What is the easiest method to JB with windows ? im also wanting to use nitrotv too, but from what ive read / understand this can only be done via terninal on mac.
Can anyone please help me out here

Regarding xbmp, I've set my destination folder on my pc with my media in, at first it was asking me for a password and user, I googled and found it to be the windows log on user and password, I've now added a windows log on user and pass and I can now access my pc via xbmc, but I don't want a user and pass to access my pc, but without it I can't access my folder via xbmp lol hope that makes sense
So my question is, is there a way can access the folder without a windows login ?
