JB using Windows

Amassing information here... The stickies are dated.

What are the current options to JB 2.2 on a 3G using Windows? So far, I only see Quickpwn which 'patches' vs. other tools (like Pwnage on Mac) that does a restore. Winpwn hasn't been updated since 2.02.

Am I missing any others?

Easy and quick, however requires 2.2 be loaded via itunes which updates baseband, right?

Is there a way to not update the baseband using Windows?

DO NOT UPDATE USING ITUNES directly. If you want you can use a modified Firmware created for 2.2 and then put your phone in Restore Mode and update it through itunes then. In this way you will preserve the baseband if the custom firmware you have is correct.
