Hi,

I have searched the forums for this issue and although I have found people with the same error I think mine may be a different circumstance.

I JBed by ATV2 (running 4.3) a few months ago and put XBMC on it. It has been great for streaming from my desktop upstairs. A few days ago I was going to stream a show and when I tried to access the shared folder it gave me the error Connection Refused. I have tried:

Toggling the shared permission on the computer
Re-adding the shared folder on the ATV2
but I really don't know what else I can do.

My PS3 which I also use to stream still works perfectly and gets no errors.

I am really hoping to not have to re-JB it, especially since I dont even know if that will fix the issue.

Any help is much appriciated.

PS i use a wireless connection for my ATV.

I guess this isn't a common thing to happen.

I am puzzled, anyone have any ideas?

where are the files hosted? os?

Do you mean the drive that the OS is installed on? If so no they arent on that drive. I installed a 2TB drive just for holding media which is where i stream everything from.

I mean you said you are using XBMC, so obviously you are connecting to another desktop to gain access to those files.
