I was playing Jedi Academy, bought from the mac store, on my late 2013 13 inch rmbp. I've been playing single player, and some levels seem to lag quite a bit. I was on the level where the fat guy captures you and takes away your sabre, and my book just crashed after lagging extremely. Almost looks like a memory problem, but I was wondering if anybody else has had this happen to them?

EDIT: My macbook only restarted after I plugged it in, and it kinda freaked me out. I still had power left, too. I'm not that lame.

I have the same computer and I haven't had any issues, but I've only played the game for an hour or two. How much power did you have left? Sometimes I'll experience a brief lag in games when that reserve battery power warning comes up. Do you notice the lag when you are plugged in?

If you're sure it crashed, I'd send the crash log to Aspyr.

Nevermind, I've rooted out the culprit. In the lighting settings, there's an option called light flares. After turning it off, everything = golden. It is odd that my computer turned off, but I'm still positive that was the issue.
