OS X Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast - default.cfg missing?

Hey everybody...just downloaded Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast from MacGameStore since it was dirt cheap today. Problem is, when I try to boot the game, it always comes up as "couldn't load default.cfg". Any ideas? I'm running Mountain Lion on a current-gen 27" iMac.
