Is it any good? I'd like to buy it... but I wanted to know what you guys think. I read a few reviews and it seems alright. The last game I played was Knights of the Old Republic on Xbox... and I loved it.

I highly recommend this game. It's very entertaining and I've never felt like I've had so much control over a sword before. Yes, Force Unleashed may amp up the force powers special effects, but I think Jedi Academy has much better saber sparring (the force powers and other weapons are fun, too).

The graphics are aging slightly, but it still has great level design and some nice atmosphere.

Cool. I saw it on Apple's website, that's why. But I was wondering if there were other "Third person" or "First person" Star Wars games for Mac. I don't know where to look for them...

I have it and I love it. I've played through it a few too many times. :D

It shows it's age, but it's still a fun game.

Jedi Outcast is much better, Jedi Academy is more like an expansion, you just get more lightsabers and weapons with a tacked on story.

Get both, play Outcast first.

I was thinking of buying this game, but wasn't sure if it's worth playing. :D By the way, is Force Unleased available on the Mac yet?

Jedi Academy is the only one with multiplayer left. The Jedi Outcast servers are basically gone.

And the multiplayer on both of these games is outstanding
