As the title suggests, Jelly Bean is now available via Kies Update. I had to first download Kies for Mac, but once installed, I plugged in my SIII, and it recognized there was an update immediately. JB was installed effortlessly. :D

Just installed myself. The only downside is my call recorder app doesn't work anymore. Got to search for a fix, if there is one. Everything else works flawless.

Also, you can root the exact same way that you do with ICS. Just use Odin to flash CWM and use CWM on your phone to install the CWM-SuperSU-v0.87.zip. If you rooted before, you should already have those files. :)

Yup, I helped all my friends who I flashed the AOKP JB rom for, upgrade to this. Seems to work well. I'm sticking to the AOKP rom though. The stock one is too bloated.

The new camera software on JB is a huge improvement. It's now as good of a point n shoot as the iPhone. No need to mess with the settings all the time to get a good shot.

I got it last night, it's about time JB hit this phone, I was getting worried it might never get the update in order to tempt people to flock over to the note 2. Glad that wasn't the case.

I'm sticking to AOKP JB as well. There are too many features in AOKP to give up.

I want to go to some AOSP rom but I feel that Samsung has done so much with Touchwiz features and under the hood improvements. My phone just feels so much faster with it. So I'm sticking with a Pre Rooted Samsung Stock JB and slowly removing the bloat and reskinning Touchwiz to be more Holo.

Might want to check out the Serenity 1.2 ROM. It utilizes the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 stock ROM. All the nice Samsung features like AllShare, Ripple effect, and so forth and ATT bloatware, but it allows you to delete ALL bloat if you wish. It is an awesome ROM.

Will JB allow me to hook my phone up to my Mac to transfer files? This is one of the most annoying things about the S3.
