I installed the bootcamp update the day it came out (the one that you were supposed to install before service pack 3). No problems. Everything was smooth for days (weeks?).

THEN windows service pack 3 came out and I foolishly installed it. Now my mouse freezes for about a quarter of a second...every second! And my audio is jerky similar to (but not synchronized with) the mouse! :mad:

Here's what I've tried so far, WITHOUT ANY EFFECT:

* uninstall windows service pack 3 (you'd think...but no...)
* try a different mouse (1. logitech g3 laser, 2. logitech 3-button optical)
* reboot, reboot, reboot
* made sure the mouse/audio work normally in OS X
* find logitech's special 50-meg driver software, install it for the mouse
* uninstall above logitech software
* reboot, reboot, reboot

Help! What do I do? :confused:

I should add that this is on a MBP, 2.2 GHz C2D, 2GB RAM, GeForce 8600M GT 128MB, "Intel High Definition Audio, ID 0x106B00A0", Leopard 10.5.2 on the OS X side.

oops. i installed SP3 first - then i got the Bootcamp update. I ran into install problems - which have been discussed on another thread.

After the updates i had problems with the nvidia driver, but downloaded a new version of it and then it worked. I have not had problems with mouse or sound.

Maybe try to uninstall / reinstall the Boot Camp update ?
