is there an app out there that has the jewish calendar, but even more specially tells you when the yearly yerzheit for a relative would be etc?

would be great if this app would work in conjuction with my calendar and would port all the events over...

thank you!

Just pick the one you want from here and subscribe to it in iOS Calendar.

Thanks guys! I've seen both of these and they're helpful--still trying to see if I can find something that will plug in a unique yearly holiday like a yerzheit (memorial)--perhaps there's a setting in the app mentioned above.

Will dig a bit, thanks!

It is one year from the date of the death yes? So couldn't you just make an iOS Calendar entry for "Uncle Joe's Yahrzeit" then scroll down on the entry page where it says Repeat and set that for yearly? Or am I overly simplifying the way this works?

jewish calendar is lunar, not solar like the western calendar--so the date changes every year on the western calendar, hence the problem.

Your-calendar.com also has a Jewish/Hebrew calendar that you can use in most calendar applications, including iCal. It automatically updates every year and can easily be enabled/disabled, which can be convenient if you only need to view those additional dates occasionally.
