Nice dude, thanks for this.

if you're an apple enthusiast, those keynote speeches are pure gold.

i watched through about 5 years of his speeches, and I was totally entranced by his words. I'm not over exaggerating neither.

after watching, you realize that it shouldn't be too much of a surprise that Apple is where it is today, mainly in part due to his leadership.

Exactly man, I will watch them. But man I see a lot of comparisons in his documentary that suits the iPhone secrety so well. Jobs takes every single detail in consideration. It can go two ways I think.

1- 2011 will be the year of the iPad 2, ass Apple mentioned, not to be overshadowed by any other Apple device. So no 5 but a 4s thing

or

2- He wants to blast all competition away with another groundbreaking device in the form of a redesigned and packed with new features iPhone. We have already seen a bit of what iOS 5 is capaable off and to show and use it in it;s full glory it has to be build in a new device. Jobs won't settle for less to let this iOS 5, where he is so enthousiastic about, run on a upgraded iPhone 4 I think.

So hope it will be option 2.

Boss...never base an opinion on somebody starting with "Seems". Don't get me wrong. As long you don't know someone personal its hard to say something relevant about an individual.

On certain levels one has to make cold choises and that often comes with a nice amount of Dickness ;-)

IN addition to my above statetment.

The man always talks in "We" never in "I".

Always gives credits to Apple's great team and hardly missing anybody to give his thanks to.

Never shows up on the News except when it's valuable for Apple. He could be a narcistic billionaire as many but he chooses to commit his life to his greatest passion. Changing the world and you may like him or not but he did changed the world in a positive way. Giving a lot of money most of the times anonymosly to charity and not like Zuckerberg with a team of golddiggers showing up at Oprah.

I don't know but I haven't seen much leaders/Ceo's who showed that much passion for their brand and product.

Thats whats so special about Steve Jobs.

He's actually passionate about what he and his team wants to achieve at Apple.

He just wants to make the user experience better for the average folk.

Theres a video of him walking anonymously in an Apple store, seeing people reacting to the iPad on launch day.

This man is amazing.

FYI I am not an Apple fanboy, I am a Steve Jobs fanboy. MU HA HA.

Well since I'll never meet the man I don't really have much else to base my opinion of of him on other than his actions. I'm aware that to be the boss he's had to make tough choices, and that's fine, but that doesn't mean he's not a dick. Look at the example in the documentary of him promising not to take employees and leave Apple, and then going back on his word and doing exactly that.

The fact that he speaks in "we" is nothing special, he's speaking on behalf of a company. I'm also curious about these charitable donations he's made, never heard of that before. Do you have a link or something, I'm genuinely curious to read about this.

The stealing the coworker is just hard buisness if you wont to that people will do it to you.

Here read this as it is anonymous its hard to tell where it goes but the man got some points for not bragging about it.

Jobs sure as all was no saint, but he was the only efficient cure against lousy, unintuitive tech. There's enough we owe to his attitude today to pay the man his due honors.

in theory yes but there is more evidence supporting the fact that he really does not give.
A big one being when he came back to Apple first thing he did was kill the philanthropy department with the promise to bring it back when Apple was doing better.
A promise he failed to ever deliver on and clearly was an empty promise.

To be honest if he doesnt give away anything I think he does it right. Those charity foundations are spending themselves all the money with their outrages salaries and benefits.

Steve Jobs and Apple are two separate legal entities. Apple does not have a philanthropy department but that is not to say that Steve Jobs does not give. Just as I do not have enough proof to support the fact that Jobs gives anonymously, you have no proof to support your claim that he does not give.

Bottom line is that the fact that shut down the philanthropy department is entirely immaterial.

It shows a pattern. He promised to bring it back when Apple was doing better. A promised he failed to ever deliver appon.
That is just one example of many. Jobs is not known for his kindness.

There are lots of charities that do not "waste" the money you donate.

That's a pretty sweeping generalisation. Obviously there will be cost to running an organisation, and it's likely some indulge in the money they are given a little too much, but many organisations are run properly and do a lot of good.

Bottom line is: to have a fortune like he does and not give any away would be sickeningly greedy. I'm not saying he has to do what Gates did, but a couple million here and there would do infinitely more good for those in need than it will to him.
