i watched through about 5 years of his speeches, and I was totally entranced by his words. I'm not over exaggerating neither.

after watching, you realize that it shouldn't be too much of a surprise that Apple is where it is today, mainly in part due to his leadership.

after watching, you realize that it shouldn't be too much of a surprise that Apple is where it is today, mainly in part due to his leadership.

Exactly man, I will watch them. But man I see a lot of comparisons in his documentary that suits the iPhone secrety so well. Jobs takes every single detail in consideration. It can go two ways I think.

1- 2011 will be the year of the iPad 2, ass Apple mentioned, not to be overshadowed by any other Apple device. So no 5 but a 4s thing

or

2- He wants to blast all competition away with another groundbreaking device in the form of a redesigned and packed with new features iPhone. We have already seen a bit of what iOS 5 is capaable off and to show and use it in it;s full glory it has to be build in a new device. Jobs won't settle for less to let this iOS 5, where he is so enthousiastic about, run on a upgraded iPhone 4 I think.

So hope it will be option 2.

Always gives credits to Apple's great team and hardly missing anybody to give his thanks to.

Never shows up on the News except when it's valuable for Apple. He could be a narcistic billionaire as many but he chooses to commit his life to his greatest passion. Changing the world and you may like him or not but he did changed the world in a positive way. Giving a lot of money most of the times anonymosly to charity and not like Zuckerberg with a team of golddiggers showing up at Oprah.

I don't know but I haven't seen much leaders/Ceo's who showed that much passion for their brand and product.

He's actually passionate about what he and his team wants to achieve at Apple.

He just wants to make the user experience better for the average folk.

The fact that he speaks in "we" is nothing special, he's speaking on behalf of a company. I'm also curious about these charitable donations he's made, never heard of that before. Do you have a link or something, I'm genuinely curious to read about this.

Jobs sure as all was no saint, but he was the only efficient cure against lousy, unintuitive tech. There's enough we owe to his attitude today to pay the man his due honors.

He gets points for not bragging about it if he does in fact give money to charity. I'd hope he does, but that was proof of nothing.

Steve Jobs and Apple are two separate legal entities. Apple does not have a philanthropy department but that is not to say that Steve Jobs does not give. Just as I do not have enough proof to support the fact that Jobs gives anonymously, you have no proof to support your claim that he does not give.

There are lots of charities that do not "waste" the money you donate.

That's a pretty sweeping generalisation. Obviously there will be cost to running an organisation, and it's likely some indulge in the money they are given a little too much, but many organisations are run properly and do a lot of good.

Bottom line is: to have a fortune like he does and not give any away would be sickeningly greedy. I'm not saying he has to do what Gates did, but a couple million here and there would do infinitely more good for those in need than it will to him.
