Joined the club. My first iMac

I just came home from the Apple store with my new 24". 3.06GHz, 2 gig, 500 gb, NVIDIA.

This is the first Mac I (we) have ever owned. I have a lot to learn but so far everything looks and runs very nice.

My recommendation would be The Missing Manual -- Switching to the Mac, Leopard Edition, by David Pogue.

I bought Switching to the Mac, The Missing Manual a few weeks ago. I am going to take my time switching over. I have a number of friends that have Mac who can help and if need be I can go to the store. The iMac sure is fast. I just loaded Handbrake and encoded a movie. Very fast process.
