try calling apple and see if they can match a serial with a number of email so you can call/email the person to return it

or look in the contacts menu of the iPod to see if they have a self vcard or someone u can call

Yeah I tried talking to Apple. Gave them my information so that he/she can get back with me. They were slightly more helpful than our gate agents. Ha.
