This has been posted a couple times before and with the same result, 129 bux for a aluminum rod with a couple holes and a slot milled out of it, is just to much. It looks nice, but not for that price.
 
It's worthless, almost everyone uses a case and clearly you cannot use a case with that stand.
 
I could not resist and stole the idea to make my own :)
I am not going to buy something for $ 120,- when I can make it for $ 5,- myself from Some pieces of scrap.

Better to steal a great idea, then to think of a terrible one yourself !

Nice. What'd you make it out of?
 
nice knock off, could use some interesting exotic woods. As far as portability you could drill a hole lengthwise in the holder portion and store the "kickstand"
