Anyone out there able to find out if the newly announced Journal app is coming to macOS? Would be cool for syncing when journaling on the go with iPhone. Cheers
Nope, that'll be next year. Apple has a history of being lazy and not porting over new iOS features to macOS at the same time. It's always a year later.Anyone out there able to find out if the newly announced Journal app is coming to macOS? Would be cool for syncing when journaling on the go with iPhone. Cheers
Aghhh. Was tough to hit the like button on this, but I definitely concur. No Journal on the Dev Beta. Journal is useless to me without a desktop version. I'm not typing out my day/week on my iPhone. I suppose I could dictate, but there's something about writing (or typing). Oh, and there's no Journal for the iPad which blows my mind, the scribble feature is so great, iPad could best take advantage of the app.Nope, that'll be next year. Journals and Health app are coming next year to Mac, mark my words.
I stopped using that after they introduced their own sync feature over iCloud. 👎🏻Meanwhile, use Day One. You might not want to go back later,
Yeah, I hit "back" as soon as I read that it uses its own servers and not iCloud.I stopped using that after they introduced their own sync feature over iCloud. 👎🏻
They are multi-platform, which is not supported by iCloud (not that I use it on Android.)Yeah, I hit "back" as soon as I read that it uses its own servers and not iCloud
While the app is "free," how many of the free features are worthwhile? Do you have to pay for every sticker, border, font, etc. that make using it better than Notes (or something of that type)?Meanwhile, use Day One. You might not want to go back later,
yes, I use it for years but don't like the design changes, increased subscription and no more icloud syncing so I hope to move to Journal once it is outMeanwhile, use Day One. You might not want to go back later,
