Anyone out there able to find out if the newly announced Journal app is coming to macOS? Would be cool for syncing when journaling on the go with iPhone. Cheers

Nope, that'll be next year. Apple has a history of being lazy and not porting over new iOS features to macOS at the same time. It's always a year later.

Journals and Health app are coming next year to Mac, mark my words.

Aghhh. Was tough to hit the like button on this, but I definitely concur. No Journal on the Dev Beta. Journal is useless to me without a desktop version. I'm not typing out my day/week on my iPhone. I suppose I could dictate, but there's something about writing (or typing). Oh, and there's no Journal for the iPad which blows my mind, the scribble feature is so great, iPad could best take advantage of the app.

O well, there are really amazing "AI" based note apps to look to while we wait. Who knows, I'll probably chuckle at the idea of switching to Journal a year from now.

Add me to the list of people for whom this app is useless because there's no desktop version. I'm not sure what Apple was thinking as journaling means writing, and if you want to write at length comfortably you need a full keyboard.

I guess I'll keep journaling like I always have using the Notes app. Frankly it does the job just fine and syncs everywhere.

Meanwhile, use Day One. You might not want to go back later,
While the app is "free," how many of the free features are worthwhile? Do you have to pay for every sticker, border, font, etc. that make using it better than Notes (or something of that type)?
