Joystick for Xplane

I have not been using X-plane lately because my Logitech force feedback joystick is too sloppy to use with Xplane. So I have been flying in MSFX. Now I notice it is getting sloppy in MSFX. What joystick can you folks recommend for Xplane in OS X ? I have a very modest budget.

I don't know too much about joysticks, a few questions:
1. By "sloppy" do you mean un-precise?
2. Why is the MS flight simulator OK with your joystick but not Xplane?

Your best bet might be to head down to some computer store and try out a few.
