I knew it.

Samsung had no basis for their request to begin with. Dumb strategy by Samsung.

Its not a dumb strategy, its a typical strategy employed by all corporations.

apple sues samsung, samsung counter sues. Apple threw a dis-interested third party gets to see unreleased products, samsung tries the same.

Apple/Nokia were doing the same thing before they kissed and made up.

The nature of Samsung's request made no sense, given that Apple was the plaintiff. Samsung asked to see devices that don't exist, for one thing.

Samsung countersued apple so they were using that as the reason.

Although I tend to disagree with *LTD*, I have to give Apple the support here. They sued due to Samsung doing very similar products to that of the iPhone. Even the promo pictures are almost identical. What does Samsung have to counter? Nothing.

Apple asked to see products that Samsung has already shown off but haven't went on sale. Samsung asked to see Apples products that Apple hasn't shown off yet. Compeletly different.

My only point was a legal maneuver samsung counter-sued apple. I was not saying it had merit. Using the counter-suit they tried the tit-for-tat move of seeing apple's stuff since apple gets to look over samsung's (by way of a disinterested third party).
