Jump Starting MacPro 1,1 Logic Board

Hello community!

I'm trying to jump-start a 2006 Mac pro logic board (frankenmac) and was wondering if anyone could point me to the exact pins to power it up.... I haven't been able to find a good diagram anywhere online. (Including the service manual)..... While I have a pretty good idea, I'd GREATLY appreciate confirmation on my hunch as to not fry a rather substantial project over something so little...

A visual-aid would be great if at all possible.

Why IDE connector came to your mind?

Look for pads maked PWR_BTN.

Ah! Thanks for the tip... This is my first Mac build and the power pins on an ATX board look a lot like the pins pictured...

Found the power pads. Seem to be 4 small squares. Do you hit them all at once?

Ok... So turns out you can't jump this logic board (model A1186)....

The power button connects through a proprietary connector on the front panel, not the logic board itself. There are no pins or pads to hit to power it up. Looks like one needs the part or at the very least the front panel connector.
