Has anyone had trouble with their cursor constantly jumping to one specific point on the screen? I'm on a 2 month old iMac and I'm using the magic mouse. It seems that every second or so my cursor jumps to the far right side of my desktop. I tried rebooting and tried another magic mouse and the same problem occurred. It's completely frustrating(I'm actually posting this from my iPod touch). I looked around but couldn't find any useful information. Does anyone know the remedy to this problem?

Are you using a mouse pad? Did you try different surfaces? What is your desk made of?

Well, sometimes my Magic Mouse's left exposé button would get stuck and I would hear it clicking and it would get really glitchy.

But for your issue: Try cleaning the little laser at the bottom, make sure there isn't any dirt, hair, etc. That always messes up the mouse.

Cursor Jumps

My cursor too jumps all over the place when I am working the screen. I go up the cursor goes down or sideways. Very annoying. I read from one response that the laser could be dirty. Checked and was not the issue.

ok well this is what you should do. try your mouse on different surfaces. but thats usually not the case. my imac use to do the same thing and i wound up bringing to the apple store and they brought it into the back and they said they were doing some tests so they came out and said it was something in the software so i had to wait about a 3 days for them to fix it i got it backed and it worked fine. but i dont think there are any ways to fix it at home by your self. so your best bet is just to bring it into your nearest apple store.
hope this helps you

good luck

following a hint elsewhere on there forums, I turned off AirPort. That cured the problem.
