If you are using the iOS 18 beta release or the iPadOS 18 beta release, do not use Tapatalk to post in the forums.

A software conflict is causing these posts to become gibberish (a sequence of emoji tags). Your post won't be readable. In the worst case, it can prevent the forum page from being displayable.

Until the problem is resolved, please avoid Tapatalk posting under these beta releases.

Thanks for the heads-up! It's crucial to avoid these platforms until the bugs are sorted. Has anyone experienced specific issues or crashes? Let's hope for a quick fix!

The problem is reportedly solved for those using the latest version of Tapatalk.

FYI -

It’s not resolved…see quoted post…

If you post numbers, it will also give the emoji codes.

The pro version of Tapatalk had been abandoned years ago, so if you are using that app, will still get the emoji problem.

So, need to switch to the non-pro version of the app.

So the Pro that people paid for doesn’t work anymore and you have to sign up for a membership to get rid of ads and get a working app?
