Hi, I was just wondering about what the price of the new macbook pro would be. If it is expected to be as thin and portable as the macbook air and will look just like it then would it be more expensive then the macbook air? If not, what external differences are expected. Also, if it looks the same, would it just have better specs? (in that case I know it would be more expensive)

It'll probably be the same price. It's not expected to have a different form factor, and just because the specs get bumped doesn't mean it gets more expensive.
Well I assumed that if it looked the same as the macbook air but had better specifications then it would rise in price. I wouldn't think apple would sell the same computer model, but one with better specs then the other, for the same price.
Usually, Apple keeps the price range across revisions of a model unless they are restructuring their model ranges. You mileage may vary by +/- $200. Newer doesn't need to be more expensive as Apple also keeps the same prices until the revision is replaced by a newer, which can be a downturn buying the recent revision just before release of a newer.
Don't expect too much from apple...

There is no way apple will make the MBP as thin as MBA. In order to make it as thin as MBA, they will have to take out optical Drive. It might work for MBA users without optical drive, but Pro users are different users and they burn DVDs.
All I can see is MBP will be getting i3/i5 process on 13 inch models with new GPU. That's it. I am hoping that it will get SSD like MBP, but we shall see.

I think that's a bit unfair. They were one of the first to make an SSD available on a mainstream product with the first MacBook Air, and they also quickly dropped the price with the Rev B. They also adopted the Core i5 and i7 in the larger MacBook Pros last year, just a couple of months after it was released.
True, they stuck with the Core 2 Duo with the 13" Pro last year, but I don't think they would have done that if NVIDIA and Intel had settled their squabble over licensing rights. They could have played specs and adopted the Core i3 or i5, but would have been forced to use ancient graphics technology in the 13" model.
Also, the new Airs are one of the only mainstream computer lines to make SSDs standard.
True, Apple has so far refused to adopt USB 3.0 and BluRay, and has clung to the Core 2 Duo longer than other manufacturers, but they have also been quick to adopt new technology, as well. They were quick to adopt USB 1.0. They also were one of the first to adopt the DisplayPort standard, and created the WebKit browser that's become standard in the mobile space. Expect them to make Light Peak available soon after it is released.
It won't be as thin as the Air, but the 13" might lose the optical drive. "Pros" don't necessarily use ancient technology like CDs and DVDs any more than "regular" users. It would give Apple room either to put in a bigger battery, or a discrete graphics adapter to go with the nice Sandy Bridge integrated graphics.
