I've noticed that most of the games I've on my Mac performs way worse on Yosemite PB2 compared to Mavericks. Is this something to do with only betas or is Yosemite more demanding for hardware?

So basically... When the Yosemite is finally released for the public will my games run just as well as they did on Mavericks?

Thank you for your time.

Nope, Public release of OS X Yosemite does not guarantee you this will be solved. This probably falls on the application itself, BETA release are meant for application developers to do lots of testing and fixes any issues/bugs detected. So it depends how hard the application developers are working to ensure smooth running on every new release of OS X.

Okay. Thanks for your answer.

Thats something I thought of but wanted to double check. Since most of the software runs fine on Yosemite and the problem occures with some games only I thought that Yosemite could be more demanding for the system and cause dropped frames. I'll see how it turns out when Yosemite is finally released and first updates for applications and the OS itself rolls out.
