I don't particularly want to mess with jailbreaking, but I would like to access the files on my iphone. MobileMe gets me access to my calendar and contacts, which is nice, since it's over the web from any computer, but a tad pricy even on Amazon. iTunes can sync up songs. But what about notes using the original notepad that comes on the iphone? I can download photos off the iphone using the MS Camera wizard (yes I just have windows), but how can I upload photos and videos to my iphone without having to email them to myself? My ipod acts as an external drive when I connect with USB, how do I get my iphone to do that? I was looking at Touchcopy, but to run that with windows, I gotta jailbreak the phone. With 2.2 coming out, and with all the 'this doesn't work with 2.2' and 'that doesn't work with 2.2' posts here on this forum, I really don't want to jailbreak. Is there any other way?

Notes isn't happening right now. You'll need to find another solution for that.

Try searching the app store. I've tried a couple of programs that give me access to a 'folder' or 'file' deal and allow access to it via bonjour.

If anything you can use google docs and google has their own app as well.

If there is a way for the notes app I haven't found a way to sync it yet. Tasks are also a different issue as well.

I'm basically trying to replace my old pda (sony clie palm 5) with my iphone. I'm learning it's a great phone but a sucky pda.

How do I jailbreak it if I have 2.1 and pwnage says good for 2.0.1?
