Agreed!
I got my phone opening night (AT&T store, just walked right in). I went for the 4GB, as I'm using it mostly as a phone / internet device.
We were on vacation last week, and it was incredibly handy. No wifi at my folk's house, but EDGE was coming in at around 200kbs. E-mail worked flawlessly, stocks and weather were fun.
The biggest thing (and the one that has basically paid for the price of admission) was Safari. My wife lost her purse in a bad section of town (left it on top of the car when we were getting our 2-year old into the carseat), and we drove off. We realized it after a few blocks, turned around, but the purse was already gone. While very PO'd, we calmly used the iPhone to find the credit card / bank phone numbers and canceled everything out. We had everything canceled within 15 minutes.
Luckily, an honest person found the purse, and turned it in to the police. Nothing was missing, and we felt very fortunate and grateful.
Anyway, without the iPhone, we would have had to return home (20-30 minutes away) to get to a computer, or dealt with the hell that is *411.
iPhone is a life-changing device, and it is just the beginning.
/9.5 of 10... waiting to get the "crash" bugs fixed before assinging a 10/10. Oh, you should be able to drag&drop songs / videos too from iTunes.
