Yes, my iPod Nano was just stolen from my car.
Car was parked in my driveway in a nice residential neighborhood. I'm usually pretty "anal" about locking my car but missed it that night. Left for work at 0530 and turned on my radio. It defaults to function last used which was my iPod yet it came up with tuner. So, I cycled through and couldn't find the iPod. Well, the iPod is in the center armrest so I reached in to see what the problem was. No iPod, just connecting wire. Talk about mad. The Nano was a gift from my kids and that makes me sad. Interesting, my kids purchased the Nano from the Apple on-line store and had my name laser engraved on the back so if it's ever found shouldn't be a problem proving it's mine. I'm headed off to the police station and wanted to get the serial number and used this to find it. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1459#one
Kind of funny that they didn't take my stereo, Pioneer FH-P800BT, as it's a bit more "pricey" than the Nano. Guess they just didn't have time. Don't expect to recover my Nano but there's a chance. I would love to be able to have a face to face with the thief and ask "why". Arrrrrrrgggggggh!
