Just orderd:

17" Powerbook G4
1 gig Kingston
Wacom Intuos A5 Wide
Edirol Monitor speakers
Wireless Apple Keyboard
Crumpler Bag (to put almost all the stuff in):)

Its my first mac so I cant wait, last year I did a lot of compositing/editing on a G5 at my work. Now I'm very scared the PB is to slow to work on compared to a G5.

if you think that is too much, you probably don't even want to know what i've bought in the past two weeks...

the 17" will fit you perfect. it's a dreamy machine. i love mine. it's a bad ass and a half. everyone who sees it is amazed by how sleek and sexy it is. the performance is awesome. it will be able to handle anything you throw at it. yes, it probably won't be quite as fast a g5, but then, a g5 isn't portable either. ;)

Do u have any experience with uncompressed 10bit 4:2:2 editing on an PB? On a G5 i know its no problem but on a PB I hope that he could handle it.
