Well, the specs on them were just upped within the last month or so, and we're only talking about an inch...and zero pixels...if they are upgraded. So, will you regret it? Only you can answer that. *Should* you regret it? Probably not.turtlebud said:I just upgraded my 19" CRT to a beautiful 23" ACD last week. Will I regret it with the 24" iMac released today? Does this mean that the displays are next for a refresh or a size increase?

Dreadnought said:Hi turtlebud,
Check your serialnumber at Apple's website if it is the new and improved version of the 23" ACD. There are still a lot of old ones out there. Also bought one this week and got an old one with the old specs and had to send it back unfortunately, still waiting for a new one to arrive. Couldn't tell from the outside, because there are no specs on the box or on the ACD, only by checking the serial number on Apple's website. I got a little bit suspicious when I saw a black sticker on the box saying that this device only works with a G4 or a G5. And the new ACD's are updated with the introduction of the Mac Pro.
Furthermore, you won't regret it!! It's a beautifull display and plenty of screen!
